"AF union of Turkic speaking countries does not exist." Panic in Armenia is in vain
Political
A few days ago an information was spread that Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia established joint Armed Forces of Turkic-speaking countries. According to the same source, as the title of abbreviation was elected TAKM as for the first letters of the participating countries.
Lurer.com talked about this with Azerbaijan analyst Sargis Asatryan, who described the statement as a complete disinformation.
"In Russian, Azerbaijani and Turkish websites it is noted that there is established joint Armed Forces of Turkic-speaking countries, whereas the official websites of the Police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan have reported that it union of internal forces has been created, which, however, can not be considered as joint AF. To create AF, an agreement should be signed at the level of senior leaders of the country, but the contract was signed by the Police", Azerbaijan analyst said.
The latter created panic in Armenia is in vain. Taking into account the last events of that country, he believes that in this way Azerbaijan tries to hedge and, if necessary, for example, to fight against the anti-government protests.
"I do not think that on the basis of this contract Armed Forces can be created. It is true that Turkey and Azerbaijan are trying to take similar steps, but, in my opinion, at the moment the treaty can not be the basis for the establishment of joint Armed Forces. Contract does not provide using created union against thr third country", Sargis Asatryan concluded.
