"Raffi Hovhannisyan strictly condemns the assassination attempt against Hayrikyan and consider it being against him as well. The ruling authorities are trying to divert the process of elections as they are afraid of real votes of people, demanding that the authorities, law enforcers find the criminal.

He does not think that it is a blow addressed to the authorities or opposition it is a blow to the right of Armenian state."
