I am strongly against those singers who are guided only by the opinions of others.
Science and culture
Singer Yeva, differs from many singers with her unique voice, talked with Lurer.com about the atmosphere prevailing in Armenian pop, about her secrets of success, future plans.
-Yeva, your first video was shot in 2007. We can say that this is your first big step to the big stage. Was it easy in those days to make a video, which the audience met with love and which achieved such success?
-Yes, the first clip was shot in 2007, it was 6-7 years ago. The video clip was shot on the basis of the song "Es Es em" ("It's me"). Of course, in those days there was also technology, and to shot the clip was not much difficult, but without them I can not do anything. I do not want to talk about the difficulties, I will just say that there were a lot of positive reviews, there was also criticism, which helped me a lot. Criticism still helped me more.
I think that our pop stars, too, should accept criticism, not to get star disease.
-You took part in various international music competitions and received various awards. Will you remember anything interesting?
-I remember that during one of the competitions, after my performance, a girl approached me, expressed her positive emotions, said that she was admired with my voice and promised to give me a song in English. And a month later, she sent me a song that I was performing with love to present.
-Songs in English dominate in your works. What song was the first in the Armenian language, what will you tell about it?
-This is the song written by Avet Barseghyan, and author of the music was talented Karen Avetisyan. We decided to call the song "Chanaparner" (Roads), under this name was released also my first CD.
-Where can people hear your performances?
-I have long been singing in the club "Opera", recently I cooperate with the Sochi Palace club, where the show presents my cllose friend Artak Martirosyan. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere that reigns in the hotel complex and club Sochi Palace.
-Does the Armenian audience differ from abroad?
-Armenians are very sensitive, and it obliges us. This forces us to improve each time more and more.
-What kind of music do you prefer to listen to?
Since my childhood, I have listen to classical music, I prefer Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Aram Khachatryan. Depending on my mood I listen to Ray Charlse, Michael Jackson, The Beetles.
-What will you wish your fans?
-I wish my fans and in general all to be kind, to love life and to smile. Let every day be full of pleasant surprises!
