Kaka to stay for another six months
Sport
Kaka will remain at Real Madrid, at least until June. This is the second time that the club and player have been unable to find an exit during the transfer window which benefitted both parties, meaning that for now Kaká will continue to take orders from Mourinho.
The Brazilian attacking midfielder was looking to find a solution which would put an end to the ostracism he has been subjected to by the Portuguese coach, but this time the obstacles came from Real Madrid. Milan and Los Angeles Galaxy both made offers during the recently closed winter transfer window, but Florentino Pérez took a hard line and demanded €25 million, a figure which was off the charts for these two clubs.
The reality is that the calculators came out at Real Madrid and Kaká's accounts did not balance. After paying €67 million for the Brazilian in June 2009, Florentino was in no way inclined to give him away on the cheap three and a half years later. The Real Madrid manager is aware that Kaká has gone down in value with 'Los Blancos', but not to the point where he can let him leave for nothing.
