"168 Hours": Is it a safe Armenia, when we are afraid to go to the balcony?
Armenian Press
Residents of 68a Vardashen are preparing to hold a protest in front of the government building and the presidential residence of RA. Recently stones tumbled from the dilapidated balcony on one of the residents' head. Every day the residents in terror wait for serious incidents.
"And it is a safe by Armenia, when we are afraid to go to the balcony, as it can be destroyed. A few years ago at Aeration street a woman fell down because of the dilapidated balcony. Concrete slabs and stones fall on people. We are living in unsafe buildings, but wherever we appeal, we are told that there is no funding. It's a shame ... At every election, they come by their jeeps, each candidate promises something and leaves. And how are they going to make the same promises to solicit votes?" residents said.
