Paruyr Hayrikyan withdrew his application

Today at 12:25 presidential candidate of Armenia, head of the party "National Self-Determination" Paruyr Hayrikyan asked the Constitutional Court to withdraw his appeal submitted yesterday, CC press service reports.

On Feb. 10, the presidential candidate applied to the CC with an appeal to postpone the February 18 presidential elections for two weeks in pursuance of Article 52 of the RA Constitution which one of the presidential candidates faces insurmountable obstacles. The Constitutional Court is eligible to rule whether the obstacles are insurmountable or not.

CC should have made decision today till 16.30.
