Paruyr Hayrikyan plays games with the authorities

"I think the elections on February 18 are profitable for Serzh Sargsyan", on February 11 at a meeting with journalists presidential candidate Hrant Bagratyan said, referring to the leader of "National Self-Determination" party Paruyr Hayrikyan's statement to nominate a single candidate.

If Paruyr Hayrikyan raises the issue of nominating a single candidate, he can withdraw his candidacy in favor of the candidate. "It will be considered as a real man's action", he said.

"I wait for Paruyr Hayrikyan's and Raffi Hovannisyan's statements that after the election, they will not apply for any position and will not congratulate the winner, as our statement on the electoral lists was not received with respect', said the candidate.

Asked the question whether he ruled out suchurn of events, in which he would yield his post to another candidate, Bagratyan said: "Yes, at this point I rule out, because I think I'm the only representative of the opposition."
