EBRD to give USD 45 million loan to Armenia

The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Vache Gabrielyan and the World Bank Country Manager for Armenia Jean-Michel Happi signed a loan agreement about "Lifeline Road Network Improvement" on February 11.

In accordance with this agreement within the framework of "Lifeline Road Network Improvement" project EBRD will provide Armenia with a loan of USD 45 million.

The program is aimed to the improvement of availability of the markets and services in the rural communities, as well as to develop the capacity of the Ministry of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Armenia for the administration of the Lifeline Road Network.
