Guys attempted assassination against Hayrikian deceived Vardan Sedrakyan

"It seems that since 1998 I have been associated with all the crimes taking place in Armenia. They want to present me as a terrorist", at a meeting with journalists, the candidate for presidency, an epic poetry specialist Vardan Setrakyan.

As for the case of the detainees, who attempted assassination against Hayrikyan, Vardan Sedrakyan said that in the summer he paid these guys to spread his interviews, but recently it was found out that the interviews of several thousand copies were left at their home. In fact, the guys do not spread them.

"One of these guys, Khachik, drugged announced in Kanaker that I have a punitive expedition, and that I'm the commander of the detachment. I believe that behind all this there are some structures, may be state, maybe not."

To note that Hayrikyan was attacked on January 31, in the afternoon on February 10 he applied to the Constitutional Court with a request to postpone he elections for two weeks.

According to the Constitution, "in case of one of the presidential candidates faces insurmountable obstacles, the presidential elections are postponed for two weeks. If during this period obstacles are recognized as insurmountable, new elections are scheduled and the voting occures on the fortieth day after the expiration of two weeks."

To note that the day after the assassination, Hayrikyan did not rule out that would have to apply to the Constitutional Court, but on February 5 hesaid that he would not seek postponement date of the vote. But three days later he changed his mind, saying that he still would apply to the Constitutional Court.
