Arena dressed up in UEFA’s visual identity

The final preparations for the Pitmen’s encounter with Borussia are well underway at Shakhtar’s home ground.

Tiers of the stands are decorated with the UEFA Champions League banners. LED hoardings are lined up around the pitch. During the match, they will feature the Champions League official partners’ adverts. After a long winter break, the stadium clearly underwent visual transformation.

This is a reminder that the Englishman Howard Webb’s opening whistle will signal the match start at 21:45 Ukrainian time (EET) on Wednesday, 13 February. There is very little time left before the Round of 16 kickoff!
