David Villa suffered a renal colic Monday that forced him to be admitted to the Hospital of Barcelona, where it will be subjected to a treatment.

"In the coming hours, the player will be subjected to appropriate treatment to eliminate the kidney stone. At this point, David Villa is doubtful for Saturday's game", to the Granada, explains the club's medical services in a statement.

After playing with the Spanish team in Doha on Wednesday, against Uruguay, Villa was a starter on Sunday with Barcelona against Getafe. Asturian striker played the entire match and scored the third goal in six of his team (6-1).
