Doctors pulled two-meter pipe out of man (video)

27-year-old Alexander Antonyan went to the central hospital of Kuschevskiy district with unusual injury. Doctors who examined the injured in the accident man, were horrified; a water pipe with a diameter of 5 centimeters was sticking from his chest.
It turned out that Alexander was seriously injured while driving in his car on a suburban routes. There was a truck in front of him loaded with pipes. Dozens of metal products fell on the road, some of them were directly catered to Antonyan's car.
"I just do not understand what was happening. I was trying to twist the steering wheel, when I saw the truck flying pipes", says the patient. "Suddenly my body was numb, and my hands dropped. I could not move, just stared as the car flew into the ditch. After a few seconds I realized that the pipe was sticking out of me.
Alexander tried to pull the foreign body, but he lost consciousness. Employees of Emergency Situations Ministry sawed off a piece of pipe, and called an ambulance. The injured was taken to Kushchevsky's village hospital on reanimobile.
"Lungs were punctured, liver and diaphragm suffered. Foreign body was in millimeters from the heart. When we opened the chest, and saw that it was beating directly on metal, and the pipe came up against a broken rib", says the head of the medical unit of Kushchevskiy hospital. The spine was not injured due to the fact that the pipe was obliquely. The situation was complicated by heavy bleeding.
Alexander spent two weeks at the hospital. Now just stitches and a bandage remind him of the terrible accident.
"I am grateful to God and to the doctors for what they gave me a second life", says Alexander Antonyan. "It's a miracle that I survived!"
