Gold market provides money for "safe Armenia"

Presidential elections are already moving into the last round, and safe Armenia, as they say, is on the doorstep. Is it really so easy, whether after February 18 we will finally have the Armenia, for which we strive for five years, will our expectations and the desire finally materialize, and do we finally start living the way people lived in a broadcast on Russian television film "Married to the President", which despite the good and fantastic story, lack of dentists is felt in opposition of some political leaders who insist that Armenia has enough dentists?

Armenia becomes gradually "safe Armenia" of taxi drivers for dentists. And very soon, the staff of the gold market in Yerevan will live in "safe Armenia", because from March 1, they will pay 35 thousand drams instead of 3500 drams. Why? .. Probably RA state budget needs money, at least it can be considered one of the most probable versions. The new payment will operate mainly in shops operating there.

What does all of this mean? Self-confidence of the authorities has reached its peak. Even before the election, people are treated in this way. Or is it due to the whim of the owner and the desire to earn more millions? Answers to this question are different, often-contradictory. However, the fact that the employees of the market for many years, ot a variety of attacks, is unique. Beginning from 2008, the bazaars of 10-15 thousand drams started, which reached its peak when, two years later, in 2010, workers of the market were forced to organize protests at the government building. At that time they demanded return to the approved payment system, where they paid monthly 14-18 thousand drams. Beginning from 2010, a lucrative tax was made 2-10%.

Parallel to this, during that time buying and selling was controlled. According to the workers, very often tax officers, posing as ordinary customers, even tried to convince the seller to sell in U.S. dollars, which followed by reaching one million fine. This is just one of the means, which are often used to keep silent the workers and make them suffer all the difficulties in silence.

In this case, the same methods and the same mechanisms as a few years ago are being used. However, this case is unique and exclusive with the fact that just a few days later presidential elections will be held and speaking loudly about this will mean "put an end" to "Safe Armenia." Let us hope that in the future, dentists, jewelers, taxi drivers and people in general will be in "Safe Armenia".
