ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" calls on not to vote in favor of the candidate of

Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), made a statement on the upcoming presidential elections, in which orients its electorate.

"We urge you to go to the polls on February 18, do not allow that this institution is finally compromised and your voice is used for the reproduction of power.

After all, a democratic Armenia will be held with democratic elections. As an opposition political force, we urge to go to the polls, do not vote for the candidate of the power, to vote according to conscience and desire or to make the ballot invalid. 

ARF will continue to fight, with the aim to radically change its declared agenda atmosphere of distrust and hopelessness, to lead the country in the normal course of development, to ensure a prosperous and dignified life for our citizens", runs the statement.

To note that the presidential elections in Armenia are scheduled for February 18, 2013. The election campaign began on January 21 and will end on February 17. Those running for the presidency are the incumbent president and ruling Republican Party leader Serzh Sargsyan, former Prime Minister Grant Bagratyan, chairman of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisyan, Paruyr Hayrikyan, Arman Melikyan, Andrias Ghukasyan and Vardan Sedrakyan.
