The survey titled "Which side is Armenia willing to slope?» CNN has monitored regarding the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia. CNN notes that "despite the claim that the incumbent President presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan's victory is obvious, these elections are not meaningless."
"Holding of these elections is quite important. If the international community will give perfect "health bill" this election, it will increase Sargsyan's legitimacy.
He will get the opportunity to spend much-needed reform, but, predictably, that he will avoid serious reform. The first time, when he won the presidential election in February 2008, Sargsyan was before the crisis of legitimacy. This year Sargsyan sees minimal competition.
When Mikhail Saakashvili in 2004 got corrupt and unproductive state, he completely denied corruption authorities and Georgia changed, turned into economy, became equal to the West. On January 31, 2013 The World Bank in its report praised Georgia for its policies against corruption and said that the country could serve as an example for other countries facing similar problems.
Armenia is not to be worthy of the same praise. The government of this country is corrupt and ineffective."
