RA presidential election is over

The voting at Armenia’s presidential election is over.
All the 1,988 polling stations in 41 constituencies were closed at 8:00pm.
As of February 17, 2013, total of 2,505,980 voters were registered in Armenia.
As of 5:00pm, 49.81% voter turnout was registered in Armenia’s presidential election (1,259,374 voters participated in the voting).
Those running for the presidency are the incumbent president and ruling Republican Party leader Serzh Sargsyan, former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan, chairman of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisyan, "National Self-Determination" union Chairman Paruyr Hayrikyan, NKR former Minister of Foreign Affairs Arman Melikyan, "Radiohay" LLC director Andrias Ghukasyan and epic poetry specialist Vardan Setrakyan.
The Central Election Commission has registered 6,883 observers, of which 6,251 represent 26 local public organizations and 632 observers from 12 international organizations.
