Armenian Minister of Transport discusses Upper Lars problem with Georgian side.

On Nov. 22, Manuk Vardanyan, Minister of Transport and Communication of Armenia, met with a delegation of freight forwarders and listened to their problems on the Upper Lars checkpoint.

Minister Manuk Vardanyan promised to discuss the problem with Georgian partners and solve it by joint efforts.

To note, the traffic situation in the Upper Lars border check-point, nearby highways has not changed after November 11. As a result of heavy snow, the traffic for trailers, semi-trailers and buses having more than 30 sitting places has been banned in Gudauri-Kobi sector of Stepantsminda-Lars highway.

In other sectors of the highway the traffic is open.
