Serzh Sargsyan: Armenians have chosen the way to secured Armenia

The central election headquarters of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), the President of Armenia, presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan delivered a speech of gratitude to his electorate, the team and the whole society.

"These elections were once again proof that our people at the crucial moments can come together and make the right decision. These elections were elections of the way, and Armenians have chosen the way to Armenia. I am happy and proud to be next to every Armenian.

I am grateful to my team. I'm proud of this team. There are no unsolvable problems for such a team. I am grateful to all those who have been able to realize the importance of the moment and work together to hold good elections. Thanks to my competitors, Raffi Hovannisyan, Hrant Bagratyan, Paruyr Hayrikyan who managed to make a difference in the political life of Armenia, and for me, I say sincerely, it was an honor to compete with them.

I am grateful to all the journalists who have made every effort to make public the election campaigns of all candidates. I am grateful to our law enforcement agencies, the police, security personnel, who were able to provide the right and the possibility of free speech of all candidates.

From tomorrow we will continue our work, since the elections does not put en end, on the contrary, hard work starts, and we are all ready to do our work. I am proud of and I hope that those who did not vote in my favor will understand the decision of the majority, and we will jointly begin to develop Armenia, our homeland. Glory to our nation. I am grateful."
