- In this day and age, we can see numerous examples of how Eastern Europe decently competes with the West. In football terms, of course. But it is important to retain the best players in a team for that purpose. As far as I know, Shakhtar stick to that. Over the past five years, the Donetsk club has made significant progress in European football , having the reputation of a strong and consistent outfit. No European top leagues’ giants want to face such a team as their opponents. Believe me, I know what I'm saying!
