Turkey detains 167 people on suspicion of terrorism

Some 167 people were detained in Turkey on suspicion of involvement in a terrorist group "Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front" (DHKP-C), TRT Haber TV channel reported on Tuesday.
The special operations to detain suspects were held in 28 provinces of Turkey, TRT Haber reports.
DHKP-C members have recently become more active. The explosion took place on Feb.1 at the service entrance of the U.S. Embassy in Ankara. As a result a security guard of the embassy died, and a visitor was injured. Perpetrator of the explosion - a member of the Marxist terrorist group Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front," Ecevit Sanli also died.
