Joint OSCE, PACE and European Parliament press conference foiled in Yerevan

Political activists protesting what in their opinions were rigged elections disrupted a joint press conference of the OSCE, PACE and the European Parliament in Yerevan, RIA Novosti reported.
A young woman got in front of the podium during a presentation and started shouting political statements.
Conference participants, representatives of international organizations ceased the event and left the room.
One of the posters held by activists read: "Stop supporting rigged elections!
Reporters recognized one of the protesters who calls himself an ordinary citizen of Armenia and ate a ballot on the eve of elections.
Presidential elections were held in Armenia on Monday, February 18. According to results, incumbent Serzh Sargsyan was re-elected president with 58.64 percent of the vote. He was followed by first Foreign Minister Raffi Hovannisian with 36.75 percent of the vote, and ex- Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan with 2.15 percent of the vote.
