Foreigners eager to see meteorite crash site in Chelyabisnk

Foreign tourists have been booking trips to the scene of a recent meteorite fall in the Urals, local tour operators report. On Friday morning, a meteorite crashed near the Urals city of Chelyabinsk, smashing windows in thousands of buildings around.
About 1,500 people were injured by glass splinters. The meteorite could be watched in the neighboring Tyumen, Kurgan and Sverdlovsk regions and in northern Kazakhstan. Scientists claim to have found large meteorite fragments in Lake Chebarkul
