"Zhoghovurd": Members of the Republican Party suffered heavy Sargsyan's defeat in three cities in Shirak region

According to reliable sources of the newspaper "Zhoghovurd" high-ranking officials of Shirak region of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), suffered heavy Serzh Sargsyan's defeat in three cities of the region-Gyumri, Artik and Maralik. Only in Gyumri Sargsyan received about 27% of the votes, and Raffi Hovannisyan-69, 4%.

Yesterday there were even rumors that the head of the campaign headquarters of Serzh Sargsyan in Shirak region Sahak Minasyan did not resist such a "heavy blow" and had a heart attack. In an interview with the newspaper, however, Minasyan denied those rumors. Why Sargsyan suffered defeat in three cities of the region, Minasyan did not want to comment. There is information that Serzh Sargsyan's defeat in the presidential election will cost dearly officials of the region

The newspaper notes that during the parliamentary elections, when the Republican Party suffered a defeat in Gyumri, Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan forced to leave his post, he was not allowed to nominate a candidate for the local elections.
