Galust Sahakyan: "The meeting will lead to confrontation."

"Today's meeting of the Republican Party of Armenia, apparently, will not take place", in a conversation with Lurer.com said Vice Chairman of RPA Galust Sahakyan.

"In my opinion, it is not necessary to organize meetings, since the mass is somewhat troublesome and it will soon see how people change their improper logic, declaring themselves a President in the case when the entire international community, not only appreciates the elections, but also speaks with highest respect about the experience of Serzh Sargsyan, the security of democracy, provided by him. We have created good conditions and will never let that people with some goals and no value system again try to disrupt order in the country.

The rally is a trap for our people, as far as growing discontent of the masses, which seems to vote in favour of Raffi Hovannisyan, and our supporters are so unhappy, I think that the meeting will lead to confrontation. There are people that do not see any difference neither between the state nor the order, neither the law, nor the opinion of the local population or international assessment. They are just trying to share the spirit of their agent of our society, but they will not succeed," Sahakyan said.

To note that the February 18 presidential elections were held in Armenia. Immediately after the elections the leader of "Heritage" party Raffi Hovhannisyan said that he respects all opponents of presidential election, especially Sargsyan - for the fact that he won in the Karabakh war. However, continuing the policy at a press conferenc announced: "S. Sargsyan is the first president in 20 years, which is to recognize the victory of the people."
