Athens police station fire-bombed

On Friday night a group of about 30 people attacked the police station in the central Athens district of Exarchia according to law enforcement officials.

Several Molotov cocktails were thrown at the local police station with ensuing fire damaging the entrance to the building and a patrol car.

No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.

The Exarchia district is popular with anarchists and occasionally they clash with the police there.
