VTB to fund power plant in Vietnam

Russia’s second largest bank VTB is ready to provide $1 billion to the Rosatom state nuclear corporation for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Vietnam, a member of the VTB board of directors Valery Lukyanenko told journalists.
The project is estimated at $10 billion.
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev earlier said that Russia would give a state loan on the plant’s construction.
The Atomstroyexport engineering company will be responsible for fulfilling the contract, Voice of Russia reports.
