Russia's Anji continue in Europa League

The Russian football team, Anji from Makhachkala, has reached the 1/8 finals of the Europa League.

In the second match against Germany’s Hanover they tied with a score of 1:1, and won on aggregate points. Itar Tass reports.

The first goal was had in the 70th minute by Portuguese Sergio Pinto from Hannover, and in the 90th the score was tied by Lasinio Traore.

In the first game, a week ago, Anji won in Moscow with a score of 3-1.

In the 1/8 finals of the Russians will take on the English club Newcastle United.

Matches will be held on the 7th and 14th of March.
