Volkswagen Touareg driver hit two cars and leaving his car escaped. (Photos, Video)

Today, on Nov. 26, a major accident occurred in Ararat Region of Armenia. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informs LURER.com from the scene, at about 01:30am, in the central street of Ararat Region's Nor Kyanq village, the driver of Volkswagen Touareg "17 UU 735" crashed "GAZ-31 029 -"26 SS 108" car parked on the roadside, then another "VAZ-31 09"-"02 LL 240" car.
After the crash, "02 LL 240" car turned upside-down. In its turn, "26 SS 108" car came out of the passable zone and hit a tree which was uprooted and the car appeared on the pavement.
As a result of the accident, the passenger of "02 LL 240" car, resident of Ararat Region's Sisavan village, Makich Azoyan, born in 1984, was taken to hospital of Ararat with body injuries, otherwise the resident of the same village Karen Vardanyan, born in 1988, died. After the accident, the driver of Touareg, leaving the car on the scene and the victim and injured man helpless, escaped.
The police arrived immediately with the led of captain Andranik Shaghoyan. According to the instructions of Ararat Police Investigation Department's inspector, the cars were taken to Ararat Police Department's penalty area.
A criminal case was filed. The investigation is underway.
The police is undertaking operational investigative measures, to find the Tuareg driver.
