Jesse Jackson Jr.'s Misuse of Campaign Funds "One of the Worst"
USA
Former Senator Jesse Jackson Jr. has pleaded guilty to misusing campaign funds for the past seven years.
Jesse Jackson has pleaded guilty to using thousands of dollars of campaign funds to purchase everything from a fedora once owned by Michael Jackson to trips to Disney World. US Attorney Ronald Machen Jr. has said that Jackson's behavior was "one of the worst" examples of campaign fraud that he'd seen.
Gibson says that Jackson will most likely end up serving jail time. The current jail sentence for campaign fraud is around four years, though Gibson says that his lawyers will most likely try to get the sentence cut down.
