On Monday, Canada is to launch the world’s first orbital telescope for asteroid surveillance, media reports said.
The 65-kg satellite will be put into orbit with the help of an Indian booster, due to be launched from the Shriharikota cosmodrome in the Bay of Bengal later in the day.
The satellite is designed to scan outer space for asteroids that pose potential threat to Earth.
