For what purpose does Hovik Abrahamyan create a "situation"?

Today the speaker of the National Assembly, Chief of headquarters of the Republican Party of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan decided to take a part-time job as "meets the desires" of oppositionists. Today, as it was expected, some members of the parliamentary opposition parallel to post-election developments tried to run passions also in Parliament. 

"After February 18 presidential election a political crisis began in Armenia, and the agenda of the National Assembly is not provided for the issue of the internal situation of the country. It's a pity", the only representative of the Armenian National Congress Nikol Pashinyan said.

Abrahamyan immediately fell for the bait. It is clear that if, instead of the Speaker of the National Assembly was someone more "competent", in such a simple situation he would tolerate such a big mistake, and the opposition should take an advantage of this.

Hovik Abrahamyan, apparently, after the formal reading of the text, "We respect those 539,000 people who voted for Raffi Hovannisian, but you have to respect those 861 thousands people who gave their votes for the President" agreed with the deputy Pashinyan due to the fact that the country is, in fact, established a "situation" and that "the created situation" needs immediate discussion.

The head of the parliamentary faction "Heritage" Ruben Hakobyan said: "On behalf of the election headquarters of Raffi Hovannisian I congratulate all on 18 February presidential elections and the election of Raffi Hovannisian as a President." MP Zaruhi Postanjyan naturally followed him: "I congratulate all of us on the fact that on February 18, we were able to isolate the evil, located at 26 Baghramyan." By the way, some members of the Republican Party of Armenia were gladly listening to the speeches of the opposition.

After spirited performances that lasted several minutes, Hovik Abrahamyan from the position of the Speaker of the National Assembly and head of the Republican Party headquarters said, "Now we are discussing the election processes", in fact, publicly and officially questioning 861 thousand votes received in favor of the Republican Party candidate, otherwise it is difficult to imagine that it would be possible to discuss if Abrahamyan actually believed his own words: "I think it is necessary to talk about all around the table. We all understand that this is not Raffi Hovannisian's votes, and these are the votes of opposition."

If in fact there would be no "situation", the essence for the chairman of the National Assembly would face no difficulty using the right to an extraordinary performance at any time, and give the correct answer to any competent opposition leader and simply declare that there is no "situation, "one candidate has collected so many votes, the other so many, as the agenda of the National Assembly did not discuss the issue of the CEC, then one would even turn off microphones protruding outside agenda and move on to the agenda.

But instead of that the Speaker invites meeting to discuss "the situation." But who and what benefits can catch the "created situation," it will be clear for the development of a "situation." We can only hope that this time people will be able to avoid any development of "situation" and unnecessary shocks.
