Thousands join Palestinian detainee funeral

Thousands of Palestinians have joined the funeral procession of a Palestinian Arafat Jaradat who died in an Israeli prison. The ceremony was held in a village in the West Bank, Interfax reports.

Palestinians say an autopsy showed that Jaradat died of torture, while Israel says a post-mortem was inconclusive and calls for an independent analysis.

Earlier, President Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of seeding chaos across Palestinian territories while Israel blamed Palestine for attempts to make the incident politically biased.
