Russian businessman Viktor Baturin was arrested for fraud charges.

Russian businessman Viktor Baturin, the brother-in-law of former Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov,was detained on Monday in the Russian capital on fraud charges, RIA Novosti reports, citing a Moscow police spokesperson.
Baturin is suspected of trying to sell to a British investor 5.5 billion rubles worth of forged promissory notes allegedly issued by Inteko and Inteko Agro companies.
In early June this year, Baturin, the brother of property construction tycoon Yelena Baturina, received a suspended three-year jail term for fraud. He was found guilty of selling one property in downtown Moscow to two men within the space of one month in 2008.
