''Haykakan Zhamanak'': Who is the next?

"National Assembly Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan, as expected, yesterday morning, after the opening of the regular session, presented the application of his resignation from the tribune of National Assembly, then took his place, but after one minute left the hall.

The session continued Republican vice-president Samvel Nikoyan. In accordance with law regulation of National Assembly, if the resignation is submitted again in five days, it is adopted. Until that time Hovik Abrahamyan will continue to be the President of National Assembly, then will become a regular Member of Parliament. Republican deputy Hovhanes Sahakyan informed that the issue would be discussed at the RPA Council without excluding the NA President elections till the end of this convocation, as the NA law regulation provides similar possibility.
