13 die in major fire in Calcutta

A major fire broke out in a multi-storey trade centre in Calcutta, the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal, on Wednesday morning. At least 13 people are reported dead, BBC reports.
The firefighters are trying to help the up to 40 people inside the building to get outdoors.
The exact number of injured has not yet been reported. The condition of the six people who’ve been rushed to hospital is said to be critical. Short circuit is believed to have caused the tragedy.
