Egypt balloon crash: surviving tourist to help investigation

Two survivors have been admitted to hospital in Luxor after leaping out to safety from a hot air balloon that exploded and crashed in Egypt yesterday.
The Egyptian driver was rushed to hospital with extensive burns. The Scotch tourists received multiple fractions but is said to be out of danger. Investigators now expect him to share his vision of what happened during the tragic balloon ride.
A total of 19 people perished in the accident. No Russians are reported to have boarded the balloon.
The Egyptian authorities have suspended all hot air balloon flights, while the police are probing into the deadly crash, which took place early in the morning. According to preliminary data, the balloon caught fire and plunged to the ground from some 300m.
