Deputy Minister: Sheep amount will reach nearly 1.5 million

The Ministry of Agriculture has developed a concept concerning sheep-breeding and presented it to NA debate, which was adopted. This was announced during today's conference by Deputy Minister Grisha Baghyan.

He noted that due to this, sheep amount will reach nearly 1.5 million. "We must implement programs of improving pastures, which will contribute to the better production of milk and meat. There will be built milk reception centers in many communities where the villagers will be able to deliver milk. These works have already been started which also carry capital constructional character.

The development of sheep-breeding allows us to export sheep, particularly to the Republic of Iran'', said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Grisha Baghyan.
