Rumors have been circulating in political circles that former presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan is behind the student strike in Yerevan. Rumors say the strikers are not students and that they have been hired by Ghukasyan. Ghukasyan, however, denied the rumor, saying: "Naturally, this is baseless information, which is not true. Such political paid actions are usually used by rulling regimes, it is their way of working. And I'm in no way affiliated with this actions."
