Run over in Khanjyan street. The driver hit a 50-year-old pedestrian and escaped. The latter died on the spot. (Photos)

Today, on Dec.1, a run over occurred in Yerevan. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan informed LURER.com from the scene, at 07:40am in Khanjyan street an unknown car hit a pedestrian of about 50-60 years and leaving him helpless escaped.

The pedestrian died on the spot. He had been crossing the street in a not allowed area. 
The police undertakes operational-investigative actions to determine the identity of the victim and to detect the driver.
The investigation is underway.
