The Embassy of Slovakia in Moscow has officially refuted the report that Slovakia has approved a law criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide.
The report was spread by some Armenian news agencies on Thursday with reference to Nouvelles d'Armenie. The Embassy says that the National Council of Slovakia has never considered such a law and consequently could not approve it. Besides, Stefan Harabin is not Vice Premie as was mentioned in the report but Chairman of the Supreme Court of Slovakia.
