The former presidential candidate of Armenia, epic poetry Vardan Sedrakyan joined the students on strike at the main building of the Yerevan State University (YSU).

As Lurer.com previously reported, epic poetry Vardan Sedrakyan's son Gevorg Setrakian also joined the action, demanding the resignation of assistant of rector Gevorg Melkonyan.

Vardan Setrakyan believes that along with a demand for the resignation of the assistant of rector it is also necessary to make a claim on the resignation of the rector Aram Simonyan and rectors of other universities.

After meeting his son for some time, Vardan Sedrakyan left the university.

Vardan Sedrakyan will joins the event dedicated to the memory of the victims of March 1, supporting no political power.
