Student strike did not take place

Today planned student strike at the main building of the Yerevan State University (YSU) did not take place.

According to the correspondent of Lurer.com, students of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of Yerevan State University, who yesterday demanded the resignation of assistant of rector Gevorg Melkonyan, today did not gather and organize their action.

Chairman of the Student Council of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics Artem Baloyan refused to talk about the requirement of resignation, he said only that their request in writing form had already been presented to the management of the university.

To note that from February 25, a group of students of Yerevan State University are on strike demanding the invalidation of the election results.
