"Hraparak": Karen Karapetyan’s appointment as Armenia’s PM depends on gas tariff talks

The name of ex-mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan is circulating among the possible candidates for the post of the Armenia’s premier.
"Hraparak" writes that in Armenia these days having political meetings. Source from Gazprombank told the paper that Karapetyan’s appointment in the post depends on the Armenian-Russian negotiations over gas tariff. The authorized bodies at the talks forwarded a condition that Karapetyan returns home and be appointed country’s PM only if he contributes to the decrease of the tariff.
Recently Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisian has promised that ‘we will have the best tariff among the CIS countries.’ Currently Armenia pays $180 for 1000 cubic meters of Russian gas and the lowest price for gas pays Belarus.
