Armenian trucks at Upper Lars border checkpoint have started to move.

With the help of special heavy trucks provided by Armenia, Armenian cargo trucks at Upper Lars border checkpoint have started to move on Saturday. Georgia’s Minister of Infrastructures and Regional Development, Ramaz Nikolaishvili, assured this information in a telephone conversation with Armenia’s Minister of Transport and Communication, Manuk Vardanyan.
The vehicles, which are still stranded at the Upper Lars checkpoint as a result of heavy snowfall and snowstorm, will be moved in the near future.
Armenia’s Transport and Communication Ministry asks all drivers to head toward Upper Lars only after receiving official information on road conditions, and this information is posted on the Ministry’s official website.
