Russia’s Mudrov Europe’s best high jumper

Russia’s Sergey Mudrov has become the best male high jumper at the European indoor athletics championships being held in Gothenburg, Sweden.
His result was 2 meters and 35 centimeters.
The second best result, of 2 meters and 33 centimeters, was posted by his compatriot Alexey Dmitriyev, and the third best, of 2 meters and 31 centimeters, by the Czech Republic’s Jaroslav Baba.
