Real rubs salt into Barça's wounds

Real Madrid, whose win at the Camp Nou last Tuesday (3-1) saw it knock Barcelona out of the Spanish Cup in the semi-finals, beat the Catalan side again, this time by 2-1 in gameweek 26 of La Liga, leaving it 13 points adrift of its eternal rival.
Sergio Ramos headed home from a Luka Modric corner to seal all three points in the 82nd minute of the game. Frenchman, Karim Benzema had earlier put José Mourinho’s side ahead (6th min) and Argentine Leo Messi had provisionally levelled the encounter (18th min).
Yet another victory for Real Madrid over Barcelona - its second in barely four day - and each one easier than the last. Real Madrid has reversed the trend and lost its fear, now even beating its arch-rival when it has an eye on another game, next week's Champions League affair at Old Trafford.
Using Plan B, Mou's side took the lead and held on. Everything changed once Cristiano Ronaldo took to the pitch. As was the case with Real Madrid not so long ago, Barça was left to cling to controversy and wonder what might have been.
