Suspect in Bolshoi ballet director Filin attack detained

A man has been detained on suspicion of throwing acid on Bolshoi Theater artistic director Sergei Filin, a spokesman for the Russian Interior Ministry's Moscow branch told journalists.

"Moscow police detained one of the suspects and convoyed him for questioning on Tuesday as part of an investigation into the attack on Sergei Filin," he said.
