Stolen Stradivarius violin found in Bulgaria

A violin by Antonio Stradivari that was stolen in London in 2010, seems to have surfaced in Bulgaria. The priceless instrument is estimated at $ 1.8 million.
The 300-year old violin was stolen from acclaimed South Korean violinist Min-Jin Kym, who was appearing with the London Symphony Orchestra.
The instrument and its case were snatched at Euston station, when the woman briefly left it unattended.
Two months later, 30-year-old John Maughan was arrested on suspicion of having committed the theft. The man had in his possession the instrument case with two equally expensive bows inside, yet the violin was never found. Maughan was sentenced to 4.5 years.
Bulgarian law enforcement officers seized the violin from a local crime boss of the Roma community. He was going to sell it for 380 thousand dollars, TASS reports.
