"Zhohovurd": Raffi Hovannisian offered a position?

The authorities have offered the position of head of Constitutional Amendment Commission to Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian, Zhoghovurd daily says. The offer was voiced during a consultation of heads of parliamentary factions at NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan’s office on Tuesday.

However, head of Heritage parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobyan answered that the National Assembly is an independent body and that the processes taking place there have nothing to do with Raffi Hovannisian’s further actions at Liberty Square. Thus, he delicately rejected the proposal.
