"Zhoghovurd": Serzh and Tigran Sargsyans did not visit Vazgen Sargsyan’s tomb

Neither Serzh Sargsyan nor Tigran Sargsyan visited the Yerablur pantheon to pay homage to the memory of Vazgen Sargsyan.

It is noteworthy that, during the pre-election period, Serzh Sargsyan’s political advertising videos contained fragments with Vazgen Sargsyan, to produce an impression that Serzh and Vazgen were companions-in-arms. Moreover, the Armenian president’s wife, Rita Sargsyan, in an interview with a Russian TV channel, told the journalist that her husband was wept when he knew about Vazgen Sargsyan’s death.

This year, however, Armenia’s president only sent a wreath. Only Armenian NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan and Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan visited Vazgen Sargsyan’s tomb.
